Why don't cities grow past 6 population?

Dont get negative happiness as 0 to -9 happiness have a -50% pop growth debuff, and anything below stops population growth entirely.
Also you might want to settle near food resources like banana and sheep, river can buff nearby farms to have +1 food bonuses after researching civil service.

Sadly that isn't what's happening. Happiness has mostly stayed over +10. There is plenty of food, the cities say growth in one turn, but it never happens. Looks like I just have to quit, the game is bugged.

Feedback at official unciv discord

(+1)

Yeah, install discord so you can get endless spam from discord saying "random person mention you" It's nothing but garbage.

Well unciv does have a official discord and its moddinf community. If they want to feedback they can go there. I see nothing wrong with a way of communication. Most of the modders are on there too.
If you dont want to speak a thing you dont have to download any social media.

Hey play this it's the best Civ game

(+1)

no kidding, this game is one of the best 4X strategy games I've ever come across, I rarely play, but when I do I play for 4-5 hours straight when I'm free, I haven't encountered any bugs in a long time.

And they are not done yet :)

Well Done

will it be on Mac OS?

I now play this game more than the actual civ games, it's very well done

good game

Have had this on my Android devices almost as long as it has been available, and I am impressed with how advanced it has gotten. Kinda unbelievable how dedicated the UnCiv team is to ongoing updates for the game. I started playing it just because it gave Turbo-Graphx 16 Military Madness vibes and have stuck with it ever since. Don't play it all that frequently but always enjoy it when I do. I have even had it on my Steam Wishlist for 2 years.

Will absolutely pay for it, just to support the team behind it, should it ever launch as a paid game on Steam. Thanks to everyone involved in developing, supporting, documenting, and anything else to do with Unciv.

When i install the game and try open it,   it won't open, why?

(+1)

the engine behind it is highly java based, have you the newest update of java ?

my is java 8, at least what update should be to open this game?

(+1)(-1)

Try to install Java 17 and run the 64 bit version's Jar. You can get Java 17 from Azul Zulu. Java 8, 11, 17 applications always work for 32-bit Windows.

Ok I am gonna try to download it,thank you for telling me about this :)

It would be nice if the game still had locking City citizen in place. As it stand, not only is it stupid, it's a total PIA to keep assigning them every turn

double click when assigning them
